Paris s'éveille
Invasion
Hitch-hiking from Grenoble to Paris was really easy: one car took me just after Lyon, then a big lorry drove me up to the Parisian «périphérique». All in all, it took about 10 hours and only two vehicles.
We arrived at Paris a bit before 6AM, floating two meters above the highway in the cabin of the lorry. The road was already packed with all kinds of vehicle when the driver dropped me at «Porte d'Italie».
I took a Velib, cycled half an hour along the «Maréchaux» towards the house of my sister, found a few «croissants», and rang the bell at around 7AM. We took my adorable niece to her nearby school, before I reached her small but comfortable bed to finish my night.
